Julieth Mendoza is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of family and child-related service experience.
At the beginning of her career, she worked within the Criminal Justice System and was schooled by one of the most innovative partnerships for social change and victim advocacy within the Courts and the New York City Police Department. This experience provided a foundation of knowledge for her to assist families involved in the Court system.
Ms. Mendoza has privately assisted the Courts in making essential decisions concerning custody and parenting time in divorce and Family Court matters. She is a certified parenting coordinator and a family and divorce mediator, and she has also provided custody and forensic services for the courts. She has also served on the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division, in the First and Second Judicial Departments, to assist attorneys and the Courts in custody matters, to conduct adoption home studies, and as a supervisor of therapeutic visitation.
As a psychotherapist, she enjoys working with individuals, families, and children, from diverse cultural backgrounds, with an integrative approach to treatment that derives from cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and strengths perspective, all with the goal of strengthening each individual's unique emotional and psychological needs. Her main priority is to offer a safe, confidential, flexible space to address each client’s overall sense of wellness.
